Q. What exactly is in Druid’s Workshop products that makes them different to other body-care and hair-care products?
A. All Druid’s Workshop products contain a carefully selected range of natural herbs, flowers and tree extracts, taken from the range of plants that would have been available to the ancient Celtic Druids. Each of these botanical ingredients has been included in order to incorporate its physical benefits into the product concerned.
The Druidic tradition tells us that in addition to their physical benefits, each plant is also host to one or more magical and spiritual attributes. By carefully selecting the plants we use, we obtain a physical and magical balance that works on both planes. Physically to nourish, cleans, invigorate or calm the skin and hair and magically in order to imbue the user with a wide range of magical, psychic and divination powers.
Once this carefully balanced botanical combination has been achieved, the mixtures are magically and spiritually empowered through arcane Druidic Ritual that actively enhances the mixtures potential energies.

A. For many years now medical science has recognised the benefits involved in using natural botanical ingredients, particularly in body-care and hair-care products. A. All druid’s Workshop products contain only 100% natural ingredients that have been meticulously tested in order to ensure that they are safe for use by the majority or people. It must be said however that a very small percentage of people may have an intolerance or allergic reaction to some of the ingredients involved. This would be common to all cosmetic and skin-care/hair-care products, even some of those identified as hypoallergenic. It is always advisable when using any new product, to test a little on a small area of skin in order to test the body’s reaction. Do not use any product if your body shows even the slightest signs of reaction.

Q. How long does a Residential Learner Programme take to complete?
A. All our Residential Learner Programmes last for a set period. During this period our trained facilitators will take you through all the necessary steps of learning for the particular programme you have selected. At the end of the Residential Learner Programme, assuming you will have completed the programme and achieved the required assessment standards, you will receive your certified qualification, validated by the Irish Centre for Druidic Practises. Refer to the individual Residential Programme descriptions by clicking here to check the duration of each individual programme.

Q. How long does an on-line, Distance Learner Programme take to complete?
A. One of the main features of our on-line learner methodology is that you can progress through the programme at your own pace. Each of the programmes consists of successive modules and each module needs to be completed before you move on to the next. When you are confident that you have acquired sufficient information to progress to the next module you simply apply for assessment by submitting your assessment form on-line or by post and assuming our tutors verify your assessment, the learning material for the next module is forwarded to you along with your accreditation for the completed module. Once all the modules in the programme you have selected are completed, you receive your certified qualification, validated by the Irish Centre for Druidic Practises.
This process is designed in order that you may progress at your own speed and as your life-style allows. It is however expected that each module takes no longer than two months to complete and the contents of each module has been designed with this in mind.

Q. Do I have to buy a lot of equipment/books/materials in order to undertake a Learner Programme?
A. If you are attending one of our Residential Programmes then all the necessary equipment and materials are provided within the overall price of the programme. Some additional reading material may be recommended to you in order to reinforce or broaden your learning, but these will not be essential to your programme.
If you undertake one of our on-line Distance Learner Programmes you will receive a list of the necessary equipment and materials required when you enrol. As our Distance Learner Programmes are available anywhere in the world by using the Internet, it is impractical for us to send all our Learners packages of equipment and materials as quite often the cost of packaging and delivery will outweigh the cost of the contents. We therefore work on the basis that all the equipment and materials are generally available where ever you may be living, so therefore the price of programme reflects that no equipment or materials are included.

Q. Are there any dangers involved in working with the supernatural forces involved with Druidic lore and learning?
A. All our Learner Programmes are designed to protect you, the Learner from any unwanted influences during your learning experience. Where the training involves channelling the forces and powers within the Druidic Cosmos, then suitable warning and preparation is always included. There is therefore no risk of attracting unwelcome energies.
Like all forms of Natural Magic, Celtic Paganism and Druidic lore have their darker sides. When practised responsibly, Pagan and Druidic magic is only used for good and it is not possible to become involved in these darker practises “accidentally”. So there is no risk of becoming a “Dark Druid” unless that is your deliberate intention.
